Week 3, Thing #7

At first, I wasn't quite sure what to share for my technology related post, but then I rememebered a website I started using recently:

bibliophil.org

This should appeal to all you library folks out there, as it's a great way to keep track of books you've read or books that you own. You can rate books and write short reviews if you like, as well as keep track of how many books you've read each year (as long as you can remember when you read the book).

Week 3, Things #5-6

I didn't have to do too much exploration on Flickr, since I already have an account there and I use it fairly frequently, but I did fiddle with the APIs a bit and found one that I thought was pretty fun...

I used the Mosaic Maker from fd's Flickr Toys to create a mosaic of some of my favorite photos taken by a friend of mine, raelala (because she's a much better photographer than me). Here's the mosaic:



So that's Steps 5 and 6 complete!

Weeks 1 & 2, Things #1-4

This is the start of my Learning 2.0 journey for SJPL. I'm a Library Clerk at West Valley Branch. I've been with SJPL since December 2000, when I started as a Library Page at the old Rosegarden Branch. I also worked at Willow Glen Branch for 2 years as a page before being promoted to clerk here at West Valley last January.

And since I've already viewed the Seven and ½ Habits tutorial, I've completed Steps 1-4 of the 23 Things!
